Our Team

Holmedale Pre-school Limited prides ourselves on our dedicated, caring, sensitive and excellent staff team.  We have a high ratio of adults to children, which enables us to support and work with children individually and within small groups.  All our staff are qualified to at least level 3 in early years and childcare, and supported and encouraged to continue to develop professionally by attending training courses provided by North Yorkshire County Council.  

• Pam Braithwaite is the owner/manager of the Pre-school and Pam is responsible for reviewing both policy and practice within the organisation, for the employment of staff and for managing the day to day running of the Pre-school.  Pam works directly with the children on a daily basis and she has a BA Hons Degree in Childhood Studies as well as Early Years Professional Status.

• Emma Smith holds a level 3 childcare qualification and has undergone SENCO training. Emma has worked within Holmedale Pre-school as a pre-school assistant for over twelve years.

• Rebekah Heyes is a pre-school assistant who holds a level 3 Cache Diploma in Childcare and Education and is SEND level 2 trained. Rebekah has worked within Holmedale Pre-school as a pre-school assistant for over 5 years.

All our staff have enhanced DBS clearance for their suitability to work with children, and all our staff undergo training in first aid, safeguarding children, food hygiene and health safety.
